The new store has fashioned a modern mix of studio furnishings and classic Swedish Gustavian interior. 212.931.2000 In the late 80’s, after working with Jean Patou and Hermes, Christian Lacroix founded his own Haute Couture house in Paris with ultra-luxe, theatrical pieces that were joined by elegant ready-to-wear collections. Now, with his first NYC store, local shoppers can enjoy his creative and beautiful designs. The boutique carries womenswear, menswear, and accessories including fantastical shoes, handbags, and jewelry. The highly anticipated New York store carries on the new design concept by combining contemporary and French Baroque elements to create the unique universe of Christian Lacroix. Rich in patterns, graphic details, and bold colors, the store utilizes natural materials such as walnut veneers printed with Lacroix’s signature kaleidoscopic patterns. Wall coverings are decorated with a scene-scape of the designer’s native Arles in a rustic print. The fitting rooms bear old world French crown moldings and ceiling appliqués, complemented by contemporary chandeliers. Christian Lacroix collaborated with KREO Gallery and the Pavlik Design Team on the design and production of the 1,741 square foot boutique.

Williamsburg, Brooklyn
347.381.3193 One of our favorite French labels, A.P.C., is designer Jean Touitou’s answer to minimalistic and quality clothing. After establishing a cult-like following in the NYC downtown crowd, A.P.C. has opened a surplus store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The new store carries past season’s men’s and women’s pieces from 50% to 60% off the full retail price. The space also carries their popular raw denim at full price and will soon be selling vintage customized military pieces. They are open Wednesday through Sunday from 1PM to 7PM.
